Using OSX to run Dirac Live for my SHD Studio, and it is a very straight forward set up. Plain stereo, no sub, using output 1+2, so basically default config in the minidsp app. I launch dirac live from the minidsp plugin, and have confirmed that DL has permission to access the microphone. However, when I do the volume check, I only see input on the level meter for channel 1. Channel 2 plays sound, but the level meter doesn't move. If I ignore this and proceed, predictably, the sweeps play, and I see stuff captured for channel 1, but nothing for channel 2 and it complains about poor signal to noise ratio.

I don't get it. I only have one mic, it works when recording channel 1, but not channel 2?

EDIT: So, I'm an idiot. Seems one of the USB ports on my laptop is flakey and while the UMIK appeared when I checked the system information, it did NOT appear in Dirac Live. I was selecting "SHD" as the input device, because I wasn't looking closely! Of course that isn't going to work right. Using a USB hub and the other USB port and UMIK shows up, and everything works! Sorry for the noise (but leaving this here in case anyone else messes this up!).
