Is there anyone who is willing to share some Dirac Headphone profiles?
I have successfully integrated Dirac and MiniSHARC96K in one box, using two channels to drive headphones.
It would be awesome to be able to use DIRAC for headphone correction as well. But without having to invest into EAR and try to do this myself.
Specifically interested in Sennheiser HD600, HD800 correction curves.

Surely Dirac Live isn't remotely designed for headphone use?

Perhaps you have not seen this: www.minidsp.com/applications/headphone-e...rac-live-2-with-ears

I had not  . Although the first paragraph does rather sum up my thoughts.

You can't apply a Dirac correction without having made a measurement though, and without something like EARS I don't see how you'll be able to have a meaningful measurement? A target curve would not be useful to you.

I think what could potentially be shared more usefully is a set of PEQ filters.

Very simple and please read my forum entry again.
Someone who has already made a measurement in such fashion as described in the app note by minidsp, perhaps could share the settings so I can use them without having to go trough the dance myself.
FWIW, I have already used the EQ on the slave MiniSHARC with some success for the given channel. I could compute the taps needed for FIR as well, but it would be more convinient to have a setting in the Master MiniSHARC (Dirac) since the DigiFP is connected to it and not the slave sharc.

No, sorry, you're missing a very important point here. As I said above, you need your own measurement to be used in combination with any shared target curve. If your measurement is different then using the same target curve will give you a different result to the one obtained by the other person.

You can save a project and load a project in Dirac. Yes/No?

I'd actually just logged back in to raise this possibility  . I don't know if it might be possible for you to make use of someone elses Project, that crucially includes their measurements as well. If it is then this could indeed work as you wish!

I totally understand that there are differences between each HD800 for example. However in general these headphones and many others require a fairly substantial EQ to make em "flat" or conform to lets say the Harman target curve. There are a few Software based "room" correction (Sonarworks for example) systems all provide presets for many different headphones that dramatically improve the user experience without having to measure anything. So although I totally understand and agree, measurement would be much better (if you know what you are doing), some presets for particular headphones would make a huge difference. So once again, I ask if anyone willing to share their Dirac 3.x calibration for the Sennheiser HD800 and 600 normal or harman target...

Sorry, you've misunderstood my points above here. I was not concerned about differences between individual pairs of headphones, but the HUGE difference in measurements made with the EARS setup and some way of trying to make a measurement of headphone output without a microphone arrangement that mirrored the situation when the headphones were on the users head.

If you can get a Dirac Live project measured on the EARS phantom, and if this is transferrable to other users in software terms, then I can see mileage in what you are trying to do. It is very specifically the DL Project and not the target curve that you want though.
