Hello:  I already own the miniDSP 4x10 but wish an easier way to room correct.  If I purchase the DDRC-24 and use REW and Dirac Live, I really don't need the miniDSP 4x10 between the pre-amp and amp. The preamp is the original Conrad-Johnson PV-1 and has two RCA inputs (R+L) that will go to my amp.  Therefore substituting the DDRC-24 for the miniDSP 4x10 should allow me to use a more automated (or simpler) room correction process.  Please let me know if I'm missing anything.

@ petevar834

If you're just using the 4x10 as a stereo in, out device, then indeed you'd have similar behavior with the DDRC-24 with the advantage of great room correction via Dirac Live. You don't need REW in this case. :-) If you ever want to do 2.1/2.2. setup check out this app note:

I am using the 4x10 for room correction.  Took me days playing with it, so that's why I'm looking for an easier, more automated way.  Sounds like I don't need the 4x10 at all, if I use the DDRC-24 and Dirac Live.  At my age, I have limited time to fool around. LOL.  In any event, please confirm my understand before I start pulling cables.  Thanks.
