My prior question thread seems to have died: www.minidsp.com/forum/shd-series/17766-b...nidsp-product-lineup

I don't know what made me think 9 months ago that the DIRAC product line couldn't do what I wanted, but that's immaterial at this point.  I just need to know if that combination will allow me to:
1) accept up to a 96k/24bit SPDIF signal from my Schiit Eitr/MPD linux server, maybe 192k but not a deal-breaker
2) apply DIRAC room correction to whole signal...I've already pretty much established the DIRAC version can always be updated to "current", which is 3.0 now...right?
3) divide, using a Linkwitz Riley filter, into:
  • 2 stereo program high channels at same sample rate as input (it will vary of course, thousands of my flac files were ripped from CDs at 44.1khz), output as SDPIF
  • 2 stereo program mid channels  at same sample rate as input, output as SDPIF
  • 1 low channel, at same sample rate as input, output as SDPIF
UPDATE: after a couple hours googling tonight, I came across some pages elsewhere that finally answered my question of why I'd 'avoided' the DDRC-88D in the first place.   Per a post from the moderator here:
Yes, indeed the internal latency of the DDRC-88D is also 13mS. THe processing inside the DDRC-88D is 48k (even if it's matching sample rate, e.g. 192k in - > ASRC 48k DSP for Dirac/BM - ASRC 192k up - > 192k out.

So I guess I'm back to the concern in my original post...and either waiting for miniDSP to come out with a product that can do full 192k/24 bit DIRAC and and crossover processing with > 4 outputs, or buying 2 products!
