Interesting, since the input meters are 3 dB down from what we expect to me that says you are getting some attenuation at your computer. Is the volume turned down at all on your computer?

It also doesn't hurt to use a bit higher level tone (assuming the amplified output is not too loud). It is a little fiddly at these low levels because small changes in the voltage you measure at the DDRC output will have a big impact on the gain calculation.

In any case as long as you can measure both the DDRC output and the amplifier output the absolute level is not super important (and I would use your actual measured values, not my hypothetical 0.066V at -30 dB).

Laptop although kept up to date is old so maybe it is attenuating as you say. I guess I can ignore the db value on REW and just go off the DDRC input and output levels.

Neighbour is in so I'll avoid turning things up too loud for the moment!
