I've successfully gone through the entire Dirac process (calibration, measurement, ... ) with my DDRC-88D, using a UMIK-1, an old USB sound card and lots of cables, adapters and converters to route the test signal from the PC running Dirac to the speakers I've measured. I haven't found any hint in the manual at www.minidsp.com/images/documents/miniDSP...%20User%20Manual.pdf how the test signal is supposed to be routed, the wiring diagrams do not show a separate connection. Is the DDRC-88D able to generate the test signals itself, or is a sound card strictly required?
