Hi,
Following the new updates and manual, I've tried running Dirac 3 with my DDRC88A without success.
I'm on macOS Catalina, updated all plugins, and also firmware on my DDRC88A (Which firmware works for you). but still, when running Dirac 3 from BM, It doesn't find my DDRC88A In devices.
BM connects to DDRC88A without a problem, I've arranged zones, enabled file sharing (do i need to enable a specific folder?).
But still no success...
Any thoughts on what am I doing wrong? or something I missed? the old Dirac still works flawlessly.
Thanks!

Hi, did you start Dirac Live using the button in the plugin (at the top)?

begin by DELETING all instances of Dirac Live from your PC..... I used REVO Uninstaller to facilitate complete removal ...include all versions of Calibration Tool and Drivers ...then reinstall the latest download from MiniDSP

I found the issue for my MacOS Catalina connection problems.

I set a different computer name in the Sharing settings than the actual Macbook hostname. The lookup would then fail.

Double check and debugging guide:
1. Get current hostname of terminal prompt or type "hostname" in prompt
2. Make sure this exact hostname is set as computer name in the Sharing options
3. Open the "network utility" and use the "Lookup" tab to lookup the Share computer name e.g. "Myhhostname.local" (the reason "FileSharing" or any other Sharing needs to be enabled is to be able to do this very lookup with your local hostname which is used by the bridge_app)
4. If you see a valid singlular actual IPv4 here (127.0.0.1 will not work!), e.g. 192.168.1.108 you are golden

Optional manual debug
5. Grab singular IPv4 from step 4
3. Connect your computer physically via USB to the miniDSP
4. Run the following command from a Terminal
/Applications/miniDSP/DDRC_88_BM.app/Contents/Resources/add/minidsp_dirac --ip 192.168.1.108
Change the IP to your local IPv4.
5. The bridge app is working fine when you see output like this:
2020-07-20 10:41:59 INFO [main] Log level set to INFO
2020-07-20 10:41:59 INFO [main] Version 1.7
2020-07-20 10:41:59 INFO [main] Server started listening on port 5000...
2020-07-20 10:41:59 INFO [runChangedIpJob] Started http server on port 8080
2020-07-20 10:41:59 INFO [startUpnpService] Started upnp service for ip: 192.168.1.108

Then Dirac Live will find the miniDSP. The Dirac Live Hifi Search logic is looking for the Hifi device on the local network, you could in theory run the miniDSP bridge app on a different device than Dirac Live, provided both are on the same IPv4 network.
Dirac Live only supports IPv4 in Version 3.0.2
