I do apologise if this gets long. I have a minidsp SHD that has the 4 analogue outputs feeding two separate amps. 1 amp feeds the horn loaded drivers on Klipsch K402 horns and the other amp feeds the Klipsch bass bins. These are what we call two way Klipsch Jubilees. I ended up having bass control issues and had to buy a Klipsch KPT 1802 subwoofer. So to integrate the sub George at Deer Creek audio sold me a 4x10HD and I use a spdif digital out on the SHD to feed the 4x10 a digital signal which should be the 450 hz and below signal that goes to the bass bins, and from there the routing takes the digital stereo and combines them and I use one analogue out to feed subwoofer amp. First question is this the most desirable way to configure my setup. I know this, when I try to set time delays on drivers and use REW, I have yet figured out a way to do this because when I set a speaker as a reference I can't do this because REW sees my SHD as my output and it only gives me left and right speaker options... Frustrating. Now second question, I have yet to run Dirac because I would like Dirac to dial it all in and I don't think it will be able to distinguish the speakers from the sub in the low bass frequencies. I'm a beginner and any references to info you can give will help. My problem is most info I find has reference to multiple speaker but I'm using the multiple outs to drive different drivers. Any info will help especially on how to best use the Dirac software on the SHD considering my four analogue outs ( 1 and 2 are for bass bins and 3 and 4 are for horns) are going to my two front speakers and my digital out for 1 and 2 are going to the 4x10 to feed the sub.
