I have a DDRC-24 and after having experimented succesfully with the filters, I am now ready to try DIRAC 2.
I created an account at DIRAC but I have been waiting for the verification email for 3 hours now.
The manual says that we don't need an account to be able to use the software so I clicked "Proceed without logging in".
However, I cannot get the software to open; Instead, after a long delay I get the Login page at DIRAC.
If I log in there, it comes back and says that my account is not verified yet. Of course!
I cannot leave them a message because I have to login to be able to send them a message.

So, how much time does it usually take for that verification email to arrive? Everywhere else on the web, it usually takes just a few seconds.
Do they have to manually check every new account request.?

Note I also tried to re-register but the system issued the error that the email address was already in use. So that proved that I didn't make a mistake in typing the address originally.

One day later-
Still having NOT received the verification email, I tried again for the x th time to log in at dirac and lo and behold it worked.
Then I tried to start Dirac from the DDRC program and it works! Go figure...

Now Dirac detects the DDRC-24 and my microphone, but I get an error of "Network unavailable".
I've opened a help ticket at DIRAC for this problem.

I had the same issue and ended up using the forget password option. After resetting my password, the account appeared to be activated and I could login without receiving the activation message.
