Hi, I just got a ddrc-24 and successfully executed crossovers for my sub through the plugin and the room corrction through Dirac2.0. I am very happy with the results.

So now I have config 1 in the plugin and a filter in slot 1 of Dirac.

Could someone’s please help by explaining how the plugin configs and the filter slots work?

So if I want another filter do I have to start from a new config say config 2 in my plugin or can I use config 1 and select a filter slot for Dirac ? And where do I make the choice ? (I noticed in the Dirac manual addendum it says to becareful about selecting the right slot while doing the volume caliberation. Honestly I didn’t pickup the filter slot as a selectable option while doing my caliberation as I just went wit the defaults. )

Also if I am in the plugin and say am on config 2 and start Dirac then do the Dirac filter slots all get ‘mapped,’ to Config 2 ?

I also got the remote which is based on plugin config choices ? Does that mean that to change filters through remote I have to have them linked to separate plugin config s?

The remote will change both sets of filters.

When the DL calibration runs, whatever processing you set up in the plugin will affect what DL measures. So before doing the calibration, use the remote or the plugin to make sure you selected the right preset.

If you only have one config in the backend processing, you can just load that into all four slots, in which case it wouldn't really matter which one was selected when you do the DL calibration.

If you have a specific question, try to narrow it down to one or two ;)
