Hello,

I am about to pull the trigger on the Nano AVR DL. I like what Dirac does, but I have four subs, which I use a Mini DSP 2x4 to take care of (with REW) up to now.
The question is, once the bass management upgrade is available on the Dirac website, will this be available to upgrade on the Nano AVR DL as well?
Thanks,
McStyvie

@McStyvie

The Dirac 2.0 BM is actually a completely different DSP structure. I'm afraid that it won't be possible on the nanoAVR DL, especially knowing that the nanoAVR DL would have a fixed assignment typically (e.g. 7.1) so no room for dual sub. e.g. 5.3

...but we are working hard to find a way to get this new technology into an hdmi inputs-outputs device to give all Dirac fantastic advantages... :lol: A guy can dream, no? :unsure: It is not everyone who can afford to go seperate pre-amp and amp to put a DDRC-88 .
