Hi there!

I couldn't find any information about the release of Dirac Live 2 for the DDRC-88D.
Could someone give me a hint, when it will be available?

I'm really looking forward to it, as the Dirac Bass Management is about to be released later this year...
This would be the perfect combination, which would make my 88D complete- I have lots of projects to be started with it.

All best from Germany,
Tobi

@Tobi

Unfortunately no timeline for the release of Dirac 2 for multichannel platform as it's a lot of work but it's ongoing and will happen. :-)
The Dirac BM is completely different DSP structure and not related at all with Dirac2 though. No timeline/plan on how that will pan out I'm afraid.

Oh, good to hear! Thanks for the update.

reg. Dirac BM:
Oh my dear! I hope it turns out well. "Add-On" feature, as they call it, sounded to me being a part of DL2...

Thanks again, all best!

No, I'm afraid it's not at all part of Dirac Live standard structure we've used for few years now. It's a completely different DSP processing path. Zero relationship to the current DSP structure of DL. So not even compatible without some serious DSP reprogramming.

Hi devteam,
If you could email me when you have a time plan, as when I get my first car I would love one of your devices but I would be happy to wait until you have a DSP ready for dirac bass management. :)

Hi @devteam :) Is Dirac 2 still planned for the mulitchannel platform? And does this mean an upgrade would be possible for existing owners of DDRC-88A and DDRC-88D, or for new product only? Thanks!
