I do apologize on on this but I am new to the 88A and fairly new to the 2/4HD. I have the 2/4HD set up with 4 subs. Two 88A's come in tomorrow. I did buy the bass module for the 88A. The question is, is it recommended that I Keep the 2/4HD in the mix or move everything to the 88A's?

Thanks so much, I am reading through the threads to try to get up to speed.

I am really looking forward to Dirac Live and the 2.0 soon. My main purpose for the 88A's is I have a Marantz 8802A and not impressed with Audacy and want to keep it for a while because over all it is a good pre.

You should be able to move the subs to the 88a's. The 88a has the same fuctionality as the 2x4HD. I also have 2 88a's connected to a Marantz 8802a. I have the 1st 88a for the 7 bed channels + sub. I use the 2nd 88a for the four Atmos + 4 Subs output. I connect sub out of 1st 88a to the input #5 on 2nd 88a, which then outputs to subs 1-4 (Outputs 5-8). You need to run 2 Dirac calibrations, 1 for 88a #1 (7.1), and then 88a #2 would only have 4 Atmos. You then need to do a 1 position (MLP) Audyssey cal to determine the delay between the 2 88a's.

Thank you for the help.

How do you like it over Audacy? Was it worth it?
