Hello,
There is a switch in the Nanoavr‘s App labeled : Dirac filter on/off. I hear little difference. It sounds as if the delay and level adjustments that Dirac does are still kept, but that only the filters are on or off. Can somebody confirm that?
(I optimised on Auto-Target. That may cause the filters to have little effect as it seems that it creates target curves that are very similar to measured response. There is no documentation how auto—target actually works).

@JoachimStrobel

Typically, the user manual is a great starting point to get started, if you haven't done so make sure to read more.

The target curve editing is indeed an important step. If your curve is exactly the same as your speaker, then maybe you're indeed not hearing much difference.. :-) The default one is really to get started, you're free to optimize as you please over iterations.

Many thanks for informing about the availability of the user manual. Sadly it does not answer my question.
So I will answer it now after some REwing myself:

- Switching the DIRAC Filter off, while having a filter loaded in the slot, does keep the level alignment still acvtive, i.e. all loudspeakers have the same loudness as adjusted by DIRAC. It does however stop the Timing alignment, (and of course the filter anyway).

- Having no filter in a Slot (like an empty number 4 slot für example) will stop any level alignment, hence the loudspeakers are as loud as they would be without the Dirac Box being present. i.e. the box is OFF.

And, btw, DIRAC does boost the Subwoofer by +10dB.

Bonus Question (and no, this is not in the manual): The Name of the filter in each slot is shortened to just a couple of characters in the box display (last step). Is it possible to see the full name somehow? So to know which filter one loaded some time ago?
