What exactly does Dirac do that cannot be accomplished with the nanoAVR HD?

Do I get an EQ curve that follows more closely the frequency response of the speakers / room aggregate? And how many correction points can I add (or are added) to the curve in Dirac?

Currently I use MathAudio Room EQ together with Equalizer APO. I've used the UMIK-1 to measure room/speakers. This is the correction curve that Room EQ came up with, for the front-left channel:

There's a lot of detail in that curve. Can Dirac do the same? Can the nanoAVR HD get close to that without Dirac?

The reason I'm asking - I will probably purchase a nanoAVR anyway. I would like to make sure I get what I'm looking for.

The short answer is no, the nanoAVR HD doesn't have any FIR filtering in it. This paper from Dirac Live might be useful/interesting -
