I think what rts100x5 means is that you have asked for help debugging an issue but have provided no information that would help anyone do that.

I suggest ask the new owner to read carefullythe user manual and work through all the steps one by one. There is a trouble-shooting section in the back of the manual she should also work through. If no success, then she should post herself or open a support ticket.

With that said, easy things to check: the correct input is selected on the AVR; the AVR is not muted or volume turned down; output volume in DLCT is not turned down; an active HDMI video source must be provided at the nanoAVR DL input while calibrating.
