In the DDRC24 Direc processor:

1. It is stated that the internal processing is 48Khz, yet I have 24x192khz sources. Is that resolution then compromised such as 192 down to 48 for DSP processing and then convert to audio out from 48khz?
2. I have the impression that impulse correction is more important at lower frequencies. Is it a good strategy to focus only on sub, other than a high pass filter for the main speakers?
3. I'm slightly concerned about injecting loss of fidelity going from analog in to digital, and back to analog to the amp - in essence double conversion.

Here are some answers to your questions:

ANS: Correct: The internal sample rate is indeed 48k on the DDRC-24. If you need higher, you'd want to look at the SHD series.

2. I have the impression that impulse correction is more important at lower frequencies. Is it a good strategy to focus only on sub, other than a high pass filter for the main speakers?
ANS: We would believe that a fully corrected system (entire frequency range, not just the sub) is a much better solution (no matter the sample rate) but then again we're a bit biased.. :-)

3. I'm slightly concerned about injecting loss of fidelity going from analog in to digital, and back to analog to the amp - in essence double conversion.
ANS: Maybe consider the SHD series in that case? It has very good DAC/ADC and higher sample rate:
