I got my DDRC-22d three days ago, and it gives amazing improvement on sonic tightness and clarity. I noticed that however, when playing SACD, there are audible, intermittent clicks from speakers. They are hooked as CDPlayer - DDRC22d - DAC via coaxial. No clicks when CDPlayer - DAC. Retaking measurements or regenerating filters do not help. I suspect that the clicks are due to the sampling rate conversion to 96kHz from 176kHz. Does anyone have such issue before? Thanks!

Pete

Hi,
I also have a similar problem: when I use high-resolution tracks (from 96kHz and higher) the sound is distorted and it is possible to listen to many "clicks" similar to those of vinyl but much more annoying.
In fact it is impossible to listen to high resolution music.

Audio chain: PC (foobar2000) / USB Streamer B (with ASIO driver) / DDRC-22D (last firmware) / OpenDRC-DA8 (last firmware).

NOTE:
- if I bypass the DDRC-22D the problem is solved, no "clicks"!
- I did many tests by increasing the buffer, both of foobar2000 and USBStreamer, but nothing.

What can I do to fix it?

Thanks!
Michele

Dear Both,

Not sure what this could be but step#1 as usual in such case, start a tech support ticket (support.minidsp.com) to reach out to our team. :-)
