Hi there,

I have a project where I have 4 x invisible IS4 Sonance single stereo speakers with 3 Invisible sub woofers alternating across 7 columns in a large basement swimming pool. Driving the speakers I currently have 2 x Sonance DSP 8-130 with digital input cards.

When testing I have found the bottom end and especially 200 - 400 mhz sound really bad due to structural vibrations. The Sonance amps have a 10 band eq but cleaning up the sounds is proving beyond my skill set!

I was wondering if a device such as the miniDDRC and Dirac Live would be able to help out or would this kind of setup confuse it (given that there are essentially 11 speakers)?

Ultimately I would be looking to use a Sonos connect as a source.

Also if the power gets cut does the DDRC remember which input was selected or does it reset?

Thanks.

It sounds like a fun application indeed.. We've never used Dirac Live for a swimming pool but quite few customers been using it for "Auditorium/large venues". It works exactly the same . With 11 speakers, maybe you can group them in zones (i..e. time aligned). Then it's easier to tune..

Hey- I am looking to do an 8 speaker (4 left + 4 right) great room designed for listening to music powered by 2 Klipsch KDA-1000 amps. My customer wants 1 Sonos Connect as his music source. Would the DDRC-88A be the ideal pick for this? From my understanding, I think it's possible to distribute a 2-channel source to 8 different channels, but I just want to confirm...

Thanks!

Sure, not a problem to do 2 x IN, 8 x Speaker out with Dirac Live room correction. The DDRC-88A + BM (need that option so you can do the routing correctly) would be the platform you need here.
