Installing the SW that comes with the downloads for the DDRC 88, i install Dirac Live and upon opening it starts "initializing"and shuts down immediately. No warning or error, just shuts down. I've installed as admin and everything i can think of but cannot get to work on my primary laptop. I can get it to work on my backup but alas its by backup and not what i use everyday.

I started with Dirac and they have not yet understood my problem. Anyone here have any ideas?

Hard to say what could be the issue. :-)

Please provide complete details of OS version you're using. We can investigate from there.
Have you tried if it's maybe an administrator limitation? Please try to run Dirac Live as administrator. What is happening?
