I have quick question regarding optimizing gainstructure in a system with the ddrc 88A .

I ran Dirac and reviewing the data i camee to a conclusion that i cam improve the output from the amplifier with the input sensitivity of 1.4 Vrms ( roughly 2 V) if i swith the output of the ddrc 88a frpm 0.9Vto 2V( i am using unbalanced connectors) . Once i am done do i have to ru a new calibration with Dirac or the previous measurments is going to be ok . I am hoping that i will have a roughly +6dB gain by doing the swith if i understood the charts correctly .

Thanks

As long as all speakers (and subs) are being driven from the DDRC-88A and you change all the switches, you won't need to redo the calibration.

Have you reviewed the Gain Management section in this guide?
