I was informed on AVS forums that there is a bug in the DLCT 1.21 that when the sub woofer box is unchecked it keeps getting rechecked when you don't have a sub woofer configured. I want to run two DDRC-88a's and want the sub channel only on 1 unit. I was told an earlier version of DLCT did not have this bug. I wanted to request that earlier version and was told to ask miniDSP for it. Thank you.

I can confirm the bug.

I wanted to use the (just being bought) DDRC-88 for my 5.1.2 setup and chose „custom config“ because I wanted to rename the channels and already had the sub connected to ch8. I unchecked the pre-set sub ch3 and checked ch8. After doing all measurements I realised that the sub channel did not apply the correct target curve. Went back to to the speaker setup tab and... the checkbox was set back from ch8 to ch3.

I unchecked ch3 again and checked ch8, changed the tab and went back... once again the standard ch3 for Sub was checked. I finally re-wired my DSP and let it to.

Really annoying.

@O_Mike

This bug is on the latest build for DLCT and Dirac is aware of it. They haven't been able to fix it knowing they work on v2.
Simply contact our support team (support.minidsp.com) .We have the older build that works fine. The difference between the 2 is simply the support for newer miniDSP platform. No changes in performance.
