I'm using a 4x10HD now.
Does the Dirac software work well for what I have? Or should I just add a Dirac box?
TIA, Vince

@ Vince

The 4x10 doesn't support Dirac Live though (and no way to update it I'm afraid)

There is a great app note here on this exact configuration using a DDRC_88A + BM option to achieve the same.

The software is so different than my 4x10hd. Is there a flowchart so I can wrap my head around how it works? I posted on AVS but it seems most people don't use it as a crossover first.

Does page 43 of the manual help?

Like this?
I have not done any crossover work at all. Just the routing and labels.
And of course thank you!

For stereo input, just use two Dirac channels and route to the output channels in the Mixer tab (not the Routing tab), like this:

That is assuming you have "left and right subs". If you are mixing the subs to mono then:

If you really want to do the thing the HT people insist on and do the sub crossover before Dirac, that's a different arrangement, but I would suggest getting it working this way first.

Like this! I was thinking I could use one Dirac channel per driver. Out of curiosity would it have worked?
Of course I will setup the crossovers after I get my brain working on routing.
Again thank you very much.

Right.

FYI you are not using the output from the LFE Mgt tab, so you don't need the inputs to the LFE mixer turned on. (Not that it matters, just in case it may cause confusion)

The issue is that you would be basing the crossover on a measurement of the wrong thing. The individual drivers should be measured, corrected, and crossed over without influence from the room. Then you correct the whole thing and the room with Dirac Live. So what you were thinking may "work" but may also produce some strange results.

Just got everything setup today and all is well! I had an error in my sub crossover that threw us off a bit.. But after that it all worked well. I need to redo my driver levels and do some EQ work but I ran Dirac Live just to see what it would do. Very impressed. Powerful stuff indeed.
Thanks for all the help!

Cool. Do you have a pic or description of the speakers? I'm just curious, no worries if not :)
