I've read some confusing comments about things that can be done with 2x4 HD but not anymore with DDRC-24 using Dirac. Could you please provide some clarifications.

Losing some PEQ capabilities? Can I still PEQ each output channel separately while also using Dirac?

DDRC-24 not as good for handling dual subs? Or Dirac not being able to correct dual subs separately?

Losing some crossover capabilities?

Hello @jmullo,
this picture from the DDRC-24 page should answer your question about PEQ and crossover capabilities.

More details such as number of PEQs and available types of EQ/XO filters can be found in the User Manual.

As for dual subwoofers, Dirac cannot correct them separately from the mains since it only supports stereo configuration on DDRC-24.
Here is a note on sub integration with Dirac: www.minidsp.com/applications/digital-roo...rc-24-for-2-1-system
