Greetings fellow miniDSP users and dear devteam,
I've almost made up my mind on purchasing a DDRC-88D unit, but still have doubts regarding two things:

1. Will the Dirac Live Calibration Tool be able to work with highly delayed sound output? My front speakers are Axelvox N6A's which have an internal latency of 454 samples (about 9.5 ms at 48 kHz) supposedly due to the built-in linear crossover filter. REW, for example, could not pick up this delay automatically and showed invalid phase response until manual adjustment. I'm afraid the same can happen in DLCT which may refuse to accept delayed measurements.

2. In the FAQ section, there is an article for DDRC-88 series which states the following: "In the case of the DDRC-88A, the overal latency is 13mS." Does this also apply to DDRC-88D? Is there a difference in processing accuracy / number of FIR taps per channel between DDRC-22 and 88 series (since the first operate with 26 ms delay @96 kHz, which corresponds to 4 times more workload) ?

Clarification of the above is really important to me. Thanks in advance!

@Wanderer

Welcome to the miniDSP community and thanks for your interest in the DDRC-88D. :-)
Here are some answers to your questions:

a) I don't see why that would be an issue.. to Dirac Live, it will be more of a measurement of a speaker that further in time.. We're running here some systems with larger FIR banks.

b ) Yes, indeed the internal latency of the DDRC-88D is also 13mS. THe processing inside the DDRC-88D is 48k (even if it's matching sample rate, e.g. 192k in - > ASRC 48k DSP for Dirac/BM - ASRC 192k up - > 192k out.
