Hi everybody, is it possible to change a DDRC-24 into a 2x4 HD just by applying the Firmwareupdate? I would like to try out both sides of this Device. Is there a Limit? Can it be programmed back and forth, if one has both Plugins? Thank´s for Your Help

No limit and no problem doing changes. The license is embedded inside the DDRC_24 flash memory.

Grab a 2x4HD, upgrade to DDRC_24 firmware (inside the DDRC-24 zip file), Connect with plugin and restore to default all (i..e will override the DSP), use Dirac live...

Same the other way around (DDRC-24 to 2x4HD)

Hi, just do it as the Devteam recommends: with the reset to default Function using the apropriate Plugin the Firmware will automatically be installed.
(miniDSP 4x4 HD or DDRC-24 Plugins)

There is no seperate Firmware File.
