Hi

My system goes like this:

Source - DDRC-22D - miniDSP 4x10 - multi volume controls - amps - speakers.

Stereo application, 4-way setup with a sub.è

Does it make sense that I have the DDRC prior to miniDSP though?

I was advised it should work when I started.

But when I take the measurements for DDRC the response would have been processed by miniDSP XO already.

Hiwever, the DDRC would be processing the source signal as opposed to the XO/EQ’d signal from miniDSP.

Am I taking advantage of DDRC here?

That's the way to do it. Imagine that you had a passive crossover instead of an active crossover - the DRC would go prior to the crossover, right?
