Dear MiniDSP DevTeam,
Sometimes, the small things can make a huge difference. Today I installed the 1.7 firmware to the DDRC-24 and I'm really happy to see the visual feedback when I operate the unit with my Apple remote control. It reminds me of the television in my younger years, which also had a red LED flashing while giving commands with the remote control. I cannot control the master volume via my Apple Watch and also not via Domoticz, because there isn't a command line switch to the Mac app (and the node-minidsp package doesn't work on my Mac - see issue here ), so the remote control or the plugin app is all I have. Sometimes I have to double check in the plugin if my remote commands are received by the unit (when I'm in a rush, or when there's not a lot of a difference). But now the LED gives me instant feedback. Never thought I could be so happy about some simple LED behaviour. So... THANKS!  |
