Hi
I have a setup with a Bluesound Node2, connected to a DDRC-24, connected with RCA to a Poweramp.
I know that the DAC in the DDRC-24 is not an MQA-DAC.
What connection between the Bluesound and DDRC-24 is recommended?
Using RCA and use Bluesounds MQA-DAC, or
Use Optical and stay digital as long as possible, but loose some sample rate in the process?
My guess is that as long as I play 16/44, the Optical saves some unwanted conversions and may sound better.
But what about when playing MQA, will optical still sound better?

I will do some tests and see if I can rear some deferens, but it should be nice to have some other input on this.

Thanks

@ Ola

Using optical would be the easiest indeed. Not sure why you'd want to use 16/44 though? Just play at the normal rate, the sample rate conversion will be fine.

Unfortunately the DDRC-24 won't accept MQA I'm afraid. It won't be able to process it.
