Hi! I've been using the DDRC 24 for a couple of months now, doing several sets of measurements along the way and in none of these I hear the lowered volume everyone seems to experiment here. I previously tried the Mac Osx version trial which did lower the volume. The quality of sound did change for the better BTW, I love the product.

I wanted to know if I'm doing something wrong with the measurements or if this is something that could reasonably be expected. Maybe someone could give me tips or pointers to anything that could be tried during measurements that doesn't appear in the manual.

@ aedagnino

Let's try to clarify your question here. Do you mean Dirac Live is introducing attenuation? Did you make sure to put the master volume at the max when you drag&drop your filter? It's by default attenuated. See manual for more details.

There isn't any attenuation done in the software, if there is one it's maybe because you're creating a target curve BELOW your speaker response? Just a guess.
