Hi I'm trying to understand the spec sheet of the DDRC-24.. Resolution/Sample rate are listed as 32bit and 48khz

The TOSLINK row states input accepts up to 216khz but mentions an asynchronous sample rate converter so does this mean that for instance a hi res stream from tidal at 24bit and 96khz sample rate will upconvert bitrate to 32bit but downsample to 48khz?

Likewise the USB via ASIO makes no mention of conversion so will the audio remain at 24bit and 96khz with this connect or does it have to do the same conversion for processing?

It is slightly confusing

The incoming audio stream at whatever rate will be converted to 48 kHz. Internally the data is processed as 32-bit floating point, but on the input it can only be 16 or 24-bit integer (AFAIK).

Ah I see, so whatever the input it must be converted to 48khz. Thank you!
