Cant you just manually add the same delay to the other speaker output in the plugin? That should bring the alignment to zero again

" Cant you just manually add the same delay to the other speaker output in the plugin? That should bring the alignment to zero again "

Good idea. I don't know about the current version, but there is no access to the gain and delay offsets in my early version. Can't even see them.

What was suggested could have been done in the miniDSP plugin. The recent change to Dirac Live means there is no need to though  .

Sure, but at the cost of increasing the already high latency

Yes, although not by much. Thankfully this is all moot now  .

" What was suggested could have been done in the miniDSP plugin. The recent change to Dirac Live means there is no need to though
" I was an early adopter and even promoter of DL. I provide Beta and help with the language (and acoustic principles)  in the Manual now and then.
DL was originally stand alone, no plug ins. One could readily alter or bypass the delay and gain offsets.
However this thread concerns Minidsp Hardware controlled by a proprietary version of DL. The Calibration Tool creates delay and gain offsets which we cannot see. The playback hardware nor associated little app does not indicate their presence or activity.  A recent version of the Minidsp DL variant has implemented some sort of workaround. But this will not run on my Studio MacPRO due to an old OS.  So, ahem, No, and ahem, No.

Are you certain? It seems rather unlikely to me that there was ever a version of DDRC-24 where you didn't have the option to configure things like crossovers in a miniDSP plugin independently of what was done for Dirac Live (whether via the old DLCT or the current approach). Not being able to do so would rather render the '24' part of the DDRC-24 name meaningless, and would remove for me what is pretty much the USP of the miniDSP product.

May I suggest you read this thread from the start?  I miswrote the Model number so you may indeed be correct also.

I hope so! As I said I cannot use my existing 3 Mac computers to run the new DCT but I intend buying a new PC Laptop shortly. You might note in an early post here by the dev team, that people are nonplussed as to why one would not want the Offset. Clearly if I ruled the World it would be a much better place.
