I did that and it just takes me to a blank page.

Ah, I see. That's bad, their webserver is using the ancient Apache software in stead of Nginx, which apparently can't handle the load... white pages also here.
I still had the downloaded dmg, so I uploaded it here for you, if it helps: we.tl/t-l7bBjLfDoC

You have to create a Dirac live login for it to work right. Sharing the software will work but you still need a login. Can’t save anything without it .

You have to open ddrc utility and than launch Dirac from the utility plug in

Make sure you connect to the ddrc also so it can get a IP address

(It will disconnect when you launch but the IP will still be live so Dirac can see it )

Also

When your connected to the unit (ddrc22d) do not touch the volume control it will crash

The volume control must be done within software while connected

> No Device Found.

Power cycle miniDSP and then use the "Start Direc Live Software" in DDRC.

The purpose of this thread was to inform MiniDSP users of Dirac Live 2.0 releases for their products. It was never intended as a support thread for users having difficulty installing and using Dirac 2.0 downloads. Would someone be kind enough to create a support thread so that off-topic posts can be moved to the new thread? 88A owners are still anticipating a release announcement at sometime in the future, and we would prefer not to have to wade through all this support discussion in the meantime. Thank you, and no disrespect meant.

Technically all you have to do is connect to the ddrc22/24 utility so it can refresh IP

Once that is done you can either hit start Dirac live button or open app either should work once you’ve connected through the utility

When you’re installing the software it will ask you which network you want to allow you have to allow public network so I would uninstall everything and then reinstall it when that dialog box pops up make sure to check both boxes allowing public and private networks

No disrespect either the thread title says “support”

They announce in newsletters, and we’re far from multichannel release as beta hasn’t even been discussed.

I do understand tho I had 76 emails and over 200 text messages.
But that’s half the fun

Dear All

Well, it seems like even with our best effort, we're not immune to some little release issues.. :-(

We've already sent an email to Dirac Team who I'm sure will deal with this asap. We were on their site right before sending this newsletter so most likely something else happened.. Thanks again for your patience while we wait for their site to be up and running again. Since you need to register to used Dirac 2.0 (i.e. need an account as per the manual), best we wait for their site to be up and running again..

While this is unfortunate, let's put things in perspective.. It's not the end of the world... :-)

FYI, Dirac's website is again up and running. :-) Feel free to contact us if any issues.

In an effort to monitor potential issues, please contact us directly via our tech support portal for any tech support issue. As mentioned in all the headers of this website, this forum is "Community powered" and not the official tech support line. If any of you has any issues, please start a tech support ticket from our usual portal (support.minidsp.com). We'd be more than happy to help.

Hello All

I have made a number of comments on this thread and was delighted to see the notice from the Dev Team yesterday . I have two DDRC 24 units one ofr two seperate systems .

Firstly can I just go through the sequence of getting this to work which may well be obvious and boring to many but might help one or two .

1- Downloade the Minidsp Zip for Dirac 2.0 - 2 - Extract the files to a new folder - 3 Open and Run the firmware update and the Plug ins update .

Now after this disconnect the DDRC 24 from your computer (I also switch it off and wait 30 seconds but this is not really essential) reconnect the DDRC 24 and open the plug in .

Go to the DIRAC Live website and if you already have an account log in to it . If not then create an account have it verified and log in to DIRAC Live website.

Now go back to DDRC 24 Plug in controls and connect to your DDRC 24 . Once connected on the upper right hand side you should see two tabs . One is purple and should say Dirac Live on . Next to it is a tab that says launch Start Dirac Live Software each time you launch you need click this button .

This will take you to the DIRAC Live website and if you are logged in will show your DDRC 24 as device and you Umik 1 if connected (you may need to close the grey help box which is obscuring the device box to see it) .

Once this is confirmed with these two items ticked you are ready to start a new session and just follwo the GUI instructions.

I have tested this on both my DDRC24 and it works for both . Not had time to run a session yet will give this a try today .
