I'm wanting to go active crossovers and run Dirac with a DDRC-88D. I have some coaxial drivers and 2 subs for a total of 6 channels. My only source i use is Tidal playing on my pc through a USB output. My question is what would be the easiest way to get from USB output to the AES/EBU connections on the DDRC-88D? Thanks.

@ Justauby
Easiest would be to grab a USB to AES_EBU interface. There are quite few out there (google for one that is closest to you).
This way you can easily stream audio to the DDRC-88D. :-)

Another option is to use the DDRC22D and a OpenDRC-DA8 linked via spdif which would give you stereo sound at 96k instead of just 48k. Check out the USB Streamer www.minidsp.com/products/usb-audio-interface/usbstreamer-box

This solution may be better and cheaper than the one proposed by DevTeam.

Could you, please, recomend or at least list any converter from MP3 on USB to spdif?

@Justauby, Burke

Few ways to feed USB audio to your DDRC-88D.
- Using the UDIO8 / www.minidsp.com/products/usb-audio-interface/u-dio8
You have USB to AES-EBU for 8ch.
- Using a standad USB to AES-EBU interface (very common online if you google. Providing it has AES-EBU you're all set. ) then you'd have stereo into the DDRC-88D.
