Hi,

I have just received my DDRC-22D. Dirac Live Calibration Tool installs and starts fine on macOS Sierra (10.12.5).

Problem: DLCT does not find any "Test signal playback device" at all.

Neither the connected USB DAC nor any of the bluetooth devices nor the internal speakers. I have tested this on two different MacBooks (both with Sierra 10.12.5). Reboot and Rescan do not help. Before buying the DDRC-22 I have successfully run Dirac´s software only demo version from their website.

Any help appreciated.

The 'Test signal playback device' being referred to is the DDRC-22D
The error implies that the DDRC is either not connected - or not recognised.
Have you followed ALL steps in the manual for installing drivers - software - etc?
Do you need to upgrade the DDRC firmware - DSP code?

Regards, Mike.

Hi Mike,

thank you for your help! Yes, it was my mistake. As you wrote it is the DDRC-22D which is the only device accepted by the miniDSP specific version of DLCT. Once connected, it works like a charm. DevTeam have reacted instantly and pointed me to my mistake. I had thought it would be just like the stand alone Dirac software solution where you choose whatever sound card is present in your system.

Great forum, great support team and an unbelievably great product for my purpose. Thx!

Cheers,
Josip
