I'm attempting upgrade the firmware on my DDRC24 to v1.6 but I'm getting the following error. Has anyone come across it? Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot it? The device appears to work fine (except its not detected on the bootup of my Mac which is why I want to upgrade the FW).

I moved the DDRC24 to a USB hub that's plugged into the laptop. It is now detected on boot up. Not sure why that makes it work, but while it still won't allow me to upgrade the FW I'm happy with it since the device works great this way.

I get the same error while trying to upgrade firmware to DDRC-24.

Does anyone have any ideas? Otherwise device works fine.

This typically happens when either the interface is being used by OSx as default audio interface for streaming. Make sure that you set the AudioMidi device to another device than 2x4HD or when plugin is connected to 2x4HD while doing the upgrade.

I have a problem upgrading to 1.7 firmware with the following error message

DFU_GetStatus: Function failed with error code 0xE3FF8001.

Any advice?

Most likely down to the way the USB is enumerated on an old fw.
