Hi Bob, thanks for replying!

I mean if the board only version of the 2x4 HD (KIT) could also be upgraded to Dirac Live capability:

The 2x4 HD to DDRC-24 upgrade information only talks about the boxed version of the 2x4 HD, not about the kit one. At the end, both versions share everything but the box. Theoretically, it would work...
