Dear Devteam,
It would be fantastic to have DDRC-24 HD with some DDRC22 features: front panel (non remote) volume adjustment,
RCA/XLR out, slot selection lights, 96khz... Any chance?

Sounds like a feature request.. (there is a section of forum for these fyi).
Unfortunately we have a policy of not talking of our roadmap, however we always listen for suggestion to see if we can include them..

The difference between 2x4HD and DDRC-24 is just software (and firmware maybe). You are talking about physical hardware.

I guess the 2x4 HD is intended to be like the original 2x4 (but better). Very "mini"

I'm not too serious about those feature "expectations", but would gladly release my Emotiva XMC-1 to
other duties.

I'm fully compliant with the request from nugat, that a DDRC-24D would be fine.

This would allow to correct a 2.2 stereo system (2 main boxes and 2 separate subwoofers),
i.e. 2 digital inputs an 4 digital outputs.

I would even prefere to have 2 digital outputs and to independent analog outputs, since the main speakers have their input in digital form, while the subwoofers will be pur analog devices. But it would be easy to add a DAC inbetween.

The other opportunity to work with all analog input and output wouldn't be as fine, since the digital output of the digital preamp must be converted to nalog signal. Then he analog signal has to be digitized at the input of th minidsp-dirac. Then corrected in the digital domain. Converted back to analog. And hen the input stage of the digital loudspeaker would digitize the signal again.
Non of these conversions is possible without errors.

However, since this solution seems not to be available, I'm thinking to use the DDRC-88D as replacement. Do you see any disadvantages with this solution?
