I am testing out a few receivers as I wish to upgrade my Pioneer LX 89.
I am having a very strange issue which I hope someone can help me out with:

Using the Oppo 103 with LPCM connested to the Nano DL
Same cables with all receivers.
changing receivers. same cables for each receiver

1. Pioneer Lx 89- Sound+ picture. No Problem
2. Yamaha 2050- sound+picture. No problem

Here is a list of Three receivers which show a picture BUT NO sound:

1. Onkyo RZ1100 (brand new model)
2. Marantz 7010
3. Arcam 550 ( I know that it has Dirac inside)

All the above Three show No audio signal received on their display' like they are not receiving any audio info from the Nano.

Alas I have no real time in opening a ticket with support as I have to return all 3 by Monday.

Thanks

Ran

H Rani, on my Onkyo NR818 there is a mode setting to switch to LPCM. Perhaps worth checking. Rodney.

Thanks Rodney.
Tried that but it did not help.

All three receivers (onkyo. Marantz. Arcam) are not showing any audio info on their display, they are not receiving any audio data/ signal. They are showing a picture.

The other 2 (pioneer and yamaha) have no problem displaying picture and sound.

I swaped cables. Updated firmwares but nothing.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Are the output channel meters in the nanoAVR plugin showing signal?

You could perhaps try power cycling in the order stated in the manual.

And you could see if changing the HDMI channel mode makes any difference.

All just guesses...

Thank you John.

I have tried a few hdmi inputs on all of the 3 receivers with no i success. I have also tried the other hdmi input on the Nano with no success.
Tried the power cycling but that's ts a no go as well.

Not sure what u mean about the output channel meters on the Nano. Do u mean the test tone page on Dirac?

If so, i have not tried Dirac at al, l as there seemed to be no point in doing that in light of the above mentioned problem.

Thanks

Oh, sorry, with the meters I was thinking nanoAVR HD (not DL).

I suppose you could try the Dirac Test tones but as you say, it's hard to see that it would be any different as you do have audio coming through, just with some receivers only.

I'm sorry, I'm at a loss :(

Sorry I'm resurrecting an old thread, but my problems is similar to the OP. I'm using Marantz 8802a receiver. I calibrated the system using Dirac Tool. Played a concert DVD, it played fine for about 10 minutes and then suddenly lost the audio. No matter what I do now(switching cables etc, reseting the unit), I'm unable to get the sound from nonoavr DL. I really enjoyed the 15 minutes of it. Any suggestion on how to fix it. I have already created a ticket with support.
It's connected like this. Oppo 203 -> NanoAVR-DL HDMI1 -> Marantz 8802a ( I did try HDMI inout 2 as well). Made sure that Mute is off on all devices. I also tried the cable box and Roku as input.

@ sandeepk100

A bit unsure as to what could be the issue here.. If you've got a tech support tix opened, I'm sure that our team will follow up shortly and ask for more details so we can troubleshoot the audio chain. We have logging tools for this.

Thanks devteam. Yes, I did open the ticket and support team gave me a special firmware that bypasses the DSP. The sound returned with that special firmware. I tried to do the factory default reset, but not sure if it succeeded. I have asked for next steps in troubleshooting.
