1.Help Dirac OutputConfig:
Gradually move the Input Gain down until the background noise level is just below the -24 dB mark on the Level Meters. (If the noise level remains below -24 dB, even when the Input Gain is set at its highest, then just leave it set there.)
Now, click the Test Button for the first speaker channel, and GRADUALLY turn the Output Volume up until the Level Meter reads towards the center of the green area when the test tone is at its loudest. Click the Test Button again to stop the test tone when you're done.
Repeat this process with each of the remaining speaker channels. For each, turn the Output Volume DOWN if the test tone exceeds the top of the green zone at its loudest point (but DO NOT turn the Output Volume UP if the test tone seems too quiet).

2.DDRC-24 User Manual:
On the Output & Levels tab, set Output volume quite low.
Click on the Test button for the left channel and gradually increase the output volume until it is at a moderate
level, such that your voice would have to be raised to converse with someone sitting next to you.
Now increase the Input gain slider until the blue bar on the level meter reaches up into the green section, as
shown below.
