Please clarify each of the following three issues: And thanks for replying above!

1)The instructions on page 15 refer to page 57 in the manual tell one to start the miniDSP UAC2 DPU tool. How do I access this and how can I get it to work to change the firmware if I am not connected? I see no drop down lists anywhere as shown on page 57 referring to any DPU tool. Where is this drop down or popup located? Page 57 does not say. It does not seem to be in the DDRC-24 plug in software.
2) When I try to open the XMOS firmware folder on my PC, windows asks me which program to use to open it, and I am not sure how to reply. Once again, if I am not connected, how can the firmware get to the miniDSP anyway?
3)Currently the firmware on the DSP is for HD 2X4 plugin. Is this what is preventing the ability to connect the DDRC-24 plugin? If so, help me to change to the appropriate firmware somehow using the HD 2X4 plug in which can connect and communicate perhaps?
Thanks again for your help!

Should be in the Windows Start menu ( or use Windows Search). Assuming you previously installed the miniDSP driver. HTH

Thanks, yes, I figured it out...but the DFU tool was not included in either the DDRC-24 upgrade download nor was it included in the original 2X4 HD software download as far as the Win drivers for Windows 10 (which is my operating system). I had to install the Win drivers for Windows XP and Vista (from the HD 2X4 download) into my system, found the DFU tool there, then uninstall the old drivers and reinstall the drivers for Windows 10, and fortunately the DFU tool remained on my computer. I am now connected. Thanks for your help!
