So I have been happily enjoying my 88a for over a year. The other day I noticed none of the LEDs were lit. I checked the power supply and it is outputting 12v. The fuse is blown, so I replaced it and did a reset. Now, with the cover off, there is a blue LED blinking. The TOP LED on the front is lit, but not the Dirac LED. And of course, there is no sound. Help

So, I read that the blinking blue light is normal....but the Dirac Live LED not lit is bad.

Hi, the Dirac Live LED will be lit only if Dirac Live filtering is turned on. You can do that inthe Export screen of DLCT or with your remote if you have programmed it. That it is off does not indicate a problem.

"No sound" is of course a problem, but you need to be more specific.Where is your master volume set? is there no sound on the DLCT levels screen when you turn on the test signal and raise the output level slider?

Hard to say indeed what could be the reason here. As correctly asked by John, few things we'd need to know:
- Are you able to connect via the software? i.e. restore to default all + reload your old settings?
- Did you download the latest DDRC-88A utility? If you did, you'd have to make sure that you reload the firmware as per the steps in the app note included inside.
