Did you set the level on the Output&Levels tab before trying to do a sweep? (Page 26 of manual)

Yes, I did set levels. Everything is connected. No getting sound from any of the steps. My there be someway to test the unit to ensure it is working correctly.

I have 8 analog cables going from the pre pro to 88A and then from there 8 analog cables going to the amplifiers. The microphone is getting a signal. Not able to play any of the test tones. And not getting any play thru from my cable box or Roku.Might the dip switches need to be changed? I have not opened the unit.

Hi, the DIP switches won't make a difference. All I could suggest is turn off the amps, and in the DDRC-88 utility use the buttons Restore to Defaults and Upgrade DSP program. If that doesn't help, support ticket -> minidsp.desk.com

I uninstalled the software and reinstalled. Followed everything in the manual step by step. Still not able to get sound out of any of the steps. I noticed my microphone is 18db not 12 like in the instructions. I downloaded the correct file for the microphone. Still no luck. I have tried every sub port on my machine. I also followed all suggestions thus far. Any more things to try?

Beats me. minidsp.desk.com is where you open a support ticket.

@ astr0b0y

Sounds like you already have a tech support ticket ongoing? If so, easiest to just limit communication to one path. It will make our task very hard to combine help on both. Thanks much for your understanding. :-)

@ Jeeaton

We'll send you a tech support ticket just in case, but here is an update on what was figured out within today thanks to the help of astr0b0y.
www.minidsp.com/forum/announcements/1225...date-update-required

In other words:
- Check to see if your unit has a green sticker at the back
- If it does, make sure that you upgrade your DDRC-88A utility to v1.7
- Connect, click restore to default and you should be all good.

Please follow your tech support ticket if any questions!
