UMIK mic stoped working with osx 10.11.4 upgrade

Had to upgrade my Macbook Pro to 10.11.4 this week and since have noticed that the UMIK mic is no longer recognized as a recording device in DLCT v.2 2015-06-10

I have a few other macs I can use so not a big problem for me but thought I would report it.

There is also a user on AVS forum who has the same problem with 10.11.4 so pretty sure its not an isolated incidence.

BTW I also have an XMC-1 and the UMIK still appears under the recording devices dropdown in DLCT for Emotiva under 10.11.4 so the OSX upgrade seems to have only affected the minidsp verision of DLCT

Yessir. Thanks for posting. I'm the guy on AVS and thank god my wife's Mac was not upgraded or I would have been SOL. Hopefully this can be fixed.

I have the same Problem. Flávio from Dirac said the upgrade to 10.11.4 changed the USB naming, Don't know it will get fixed.

Thanks again for your patience! All solved thanks to the work of Dirac Team who solved the issue of USB naming modification in the latest OSx. All solved in the latest Dirac Live executable available in the user downloads.
