Hello

i have the 88A and want to feed it with my Sonos Connect and my PC

is it possible to use 4 inputs and only 2 outputs?

atm i use a small switch wich combines the connect and my pc in one chinch input at the same time
but the 88A has 8 inputs...

how can i manage that?

i also tried the IR from my Yamaha receiver with the 88A
when i start the DDRC-88 Software it tells me "learned" when i try to use the remote with it
but after closing the programm, the 88A does not switch the channels?
what to do?

@ Nidary,

Sounds like your application is room correction + matrixing. Right now, on the DSP structure, it's not possible.
However, we're working on the release of the so called "DDRC-88BM" which will provide similar capabilities. I think that it will fit you needs here.

@ Nidary,

You've already asked that question directly to our support team so let us answer here since it's info worthwhile to everybody!

"
- The Apple remote is actually preconfigured (no need to learn it as it will indeed fail).
- To get the Apple remote working you first need to “unlearn” what your unit may have learned.
a) Go to IR learning and connect to the DDRC-88A utility.
b) Click on the “learn” button, and wait (do not flash any IR). You will get an error. But that’s ok.
c) Do the same for all buttons.

Now your unit will support Apple remote by default.

very strange indeed.. heheh :-)
That's just the way you need to "unlearn" an IR command. We'll try in the future to put a "clear IR button" to the GUI to send a command to clear all IR.

Hi devteam,

i had the same problem and it will be much more helpful when you integrate this information in the manual of the DDRC-XXD (also the Apple remote schema and how to do a reset, etc.) ...
That saves my nerves...

thanks in advance Franz

@ Franz

Sorry to hear of this issue. We'll try to see what's required to push this update to the user manual. Thanks for the reminder!
