Where do I find the nanoAVR DL Utility? I need to run it to get the serial number off of my nanoAVR HD in order to have access to Dirac Live. I need to activate Dirac Live in order to run the Calibration tool.

Thanks,
Maurice

Problem solved. Had to turn "allow apps down load" in my security and privacy settings on my Mac, and leave it on until the utility installed.

I'm now wrestling with the serial number required for the Dirac site in order to produce the license key.

The serial number generated by the nanoAVR DL Utility for my device is kind of weird. I have opened a support ticket with miniDSP.

Hi, I'm curious what you mean by "kind of weird"? It's a random (seemingly) string of letters and numbers. Does the activation page not accept it?

There was a string of ten (10) of the same characters that were all the same. The character looked like a y with two dots above it (non US English character). I followed the instructions in the documentation for activating. I received the message from the Diirac License Activation Process that said "This activation key is not valid" The activation process did not generate a license key.

Hi again, I notice now in your first post that you said "I need to run it to get the serial number off of my nanoAVR HD" - is that correct? If it's a nanoAVR HD you won't be able to run Dirac on it (starting, I guess, with not getting a valid activation number).

That is correct. I do have a nanoAVR HD. thought you could run Dirac Live on nanoAVR HD for free. In fact the software is in my User Download and it's provided free by miniDSP. I updated the firmware, was able to connect via the nanAVR Dl utility, and attempted to get a valid serial number. This is where I ran into trouble.

I don't know why the Dirac Live software is in your downloads but you can't just run Dirac Live on a nanoAVR HD :) If you want, there is an upgrade available to enable it for Dirac Live - www.minidsp.com/products/ht-series/nanoavr-hd-to-dl-update

Glad you figured it out. :-) Dirac Live is indeed a licensed program which we unfortunately can't offer for free due to the high cost of licensing.
