For anyone contemplating an upgrade to Windows 10, I can report that after my upgrade, I tested out both the DLCT and the DDRC88 Utility software, and both continue to function properly. The same can be said for MiniDSP plugin-in software used by devices such as the 2x4.

Oh wonderful and thanks for the feedback Jerry! Very much appreciate how much you're making sure to share your findings. :-)
We had no problems here but FYI to others reading, we did get a mention by one customer that it messed up their Dirac License. i..e Dirac computer changed name during the upgrade so Dirac licensing server required to be updated by our team. A simple fix we can do easily for you. We've warned Dirac in the mean time.

Hi,
I have a problem. I upgraded to Windows 10 and Dirac Live Calibration tool cannot find the DDRC-22D and the UMIK-1 any more.

The DDRC-22 Utility software has no problem connecting to the DDRC-22D.

Any idea what the problem can be?

Kind regards,
Jeroen

@ Jeroen,

Not 100% sure what could be the reason here Jeroen. We do know that we didn't have any issues neither few of our customers so most likely a simple software issue. Did you try to uninstall/re-install the software?

Maybe best for you to write a tech support ticket to our team and we'd be happy to help.

Hi,
Yes, I reinstalled the Dirac Live software, but no difference. Licence validation checks out OK.

DDRC-22D connects via DDRC-22 utility and UMIK-1 also shows up under Windows overview of devices.
But Dirac Live software does not find them, also not after rescan.

I also send an email via support, but no reply.

Under devices DDRC-22 shows up, but in event log I see 1 error:

Device HID\VID_2752&PID_0040\7&ba226c3&2&0000 could not be migrated.

@rjay, I don't know if this would help with the issue, but if you go to the activation page there is a link at the bottom that let's you delete old computer/license records. Maybe if you did that you could re-verify.

@ rjay, (Richard we're guessing?)
Based on our records, we indeed replied right away to your email. After looking at the tech support ticket again, it seems that there was a typo in the "Email reply entry" which was "buring" instead of "burning".. :-)

You can easily reset your user license count (max 1 pc) from the self serve page here :https://services.dirac.se/activate_serial/oemservices/sign_in.php
We've reset your account in the mean time.

Keep us updated if you have any questions.

I found this information very timely. I have been setting up a new laptop with Windows 10, and it took a couple of tries to get it right. In the process, I had to activate DLCT several times. The last time, I received the "exceeded number of installations" error. I used the link provided above by the Dev Team and was easily able to reset the installation count, and I am up and running again.

Thank you for the continued excellent support!

Glad to hear we were able to help you Jerry. :-)
it's a little trick we've pushed Dirac team to implement and it will hopefully simplify licensing.
