Help!
My DDRC-88A doesn't work anymore, so no music......... :(
Half a year ago untill this afternoon I used my DDRC-88 with power always ON. Now I switched on my streamer and..... No music...checked....no Leds on the DDRC-88 are on........
What can I do? Before I've this posted I checked the powersupply-plug and the output was 12 Volt so that's NOT the problem....
Who can help me?

With kind regards, Wim

Did you try connecting to it using the DDRC88 Utility? If the 88A is dead, I would assume that it would fail to connect. If by chance it does connect, I would do a factory reset.

Hello,

Question: Is there maybe a possibillity that when I open the case I could find a fuse or something to replace?
On the back of the case there is also a reset point that you can push on with a pen, but this doesn't work either, or maybe I'm doing something wrong....?

Tech support team replied:

Wim,
This is odd indeed, if the power supply is outputing 12V, I wonder if it’s the internal fuse of the DDRC-88A.
Just open the box, remove the fuse and check for continuity. Worth a trial since that’s most likely the case.

You’ll need a 250V 1A Slow blow fuse.

Hello Devteam,
Yes!!!! I can see and I measured with a multimeter: the fuse is broken!!
Thank you for your help!

But I wonder if its not better to unpower the DDRC-88 if it is not in use....?

Thanks again. Now I'm going to buy and replace the fuse.

Tech support team replied:

Glad to hear that you’ve figured out the issue. The fuse might break after a shock (e.g. lightening) that might have happened.. I think that you’re fine with the unit ON at all times.

Keep us updated if you have any questions.

Devteam

HI,
I replaced the fuse and the Leds are ON!!! Pfffff....
Thank you.
And I'm going to have the unit powered ON all the time as you suggest.
