Dear All,

Following a successful run by few beta testers (thanks wherever you are.. we're happy to open up the beta to everybody!
Since yesterday, we've now updated all the relevant files to the User Downloads section.

Here are some quick facts:
- User manual was updated. Just a quick look to make sure you understand all the new mac tools
- DDRC-88A or DDRC-22A was updated to be Mac compatible
- Upgrade firmware tool for mac was also added.

All this goodness available as a free upgrade to all customers. Please keep us updated if you have any questions,

I can't get my software to open. It's not processing the software right as it makes an .mpkg file that won't create a proper .dmg file.

mpkg is the installer program, does it run when you double-click on it?

The .mpkg makes a .dmg. Clicking on the .dmg doesn't install, it makes a .mpkg. Repeat ad infinitum.

Mmmh, we've never seen this on any of the Mac here (and we have quite a few) neither did any of the beta testers got that experience.
What OS are you running on that Mac?

All latest software. Same problem with the DRC22 software. But the utility software opened and ran fine. For some reason, the disk utility program keeps loading and trying to open the program and mounts it as a disk.

Okay, never mind. For some reason, my Mac claims that the installer is the "default" for opening the program, but shows disk utility in the top position instead of below. So I control clicked on the program, selected installer (even though it said it was the default, it wasn't) and that installed both the 22 and 88 software. Don't know if is something on my Mac or something in the program triggering it.

Of course, now it won't respond to my name and password............

.........because it wants the e-mail address, not "user name" as it states.

Okay, now that these littile quirks are resolved (I also had to reboot the program in order to recognize the mic, as it wouldn't recognize it if plugged in after the fact), the only weird thing is that after tossing out my first measurements as too problematic, I kept getting an error stating that there were too many channels or measurement for the amount of channels in the system. But I only loaded stereo, I only had one stereo measurement loaded at amy time, I'm not sure what the issue is or if the error is problematic.

The sound is quite a bit tighter and more accurate now, and showed off some areas for speaker design tweaks. I'm definitely going to need super tweeters to go with this 1.1" inverted dome as it rolls off pretty hard at 7K and resonates at 15K. And my midbass drivers was a bit shouty in the lower midrange so........Next version!

Is it alway a beta ? Can I use all my work from Windows (curves, measures, etc.) on my Mac ?

You can download the file directly from the user downloads and yes it's indeed compatible.

In other news, it appears that my Mac harddrive may have issues. I may try to buy another Mac or I just have to replace the HD and start from scrach as my "Installer" program has now completely disappeared and I'm getting fun warnings from Disk Utlitiy.

Well, I just oupgraded to OSX El Capitan and this fixed and upgraded my Installer program so I finally have functionality.
