I have 3 MiniDSP 2x4s for my front 3 channels, and i am looking at getting the DDRC-88A for processing (getting rid of Audyssey). I am thinking that the proper way is to have the pre outs go to the MiniDSPs, and then to the DDRC-88A, but that will use up 3 of my channels. Can I just use the MiniDSPs between the DDRC-88A, and the power amps?

Hi, what are you using the miniDSPs 2x4s for? If they are for active crossover, then you would put them between the DDRC-88A and the power amps. If they are for EQ, then you probably don't need them.

Is it possible to use DDRC-88A after a bunch of 2x4 minidsp (or 4x10HD)? I mean active crossover first up to 3-way and room correction of each channel with DDRC? TD

It would be better to have Dirac "before" the crossover. That way you use the crossover to give your speakers the right ampkitude response independent of the room, and dirac to correct room response and overall impulse response.

Source -> Dirac -> Crossover -> Power amps -> Drivers

John's answer is exactly in line to what we'd recommend: (DDRC -> 4x10/Active crossover DSP)
1) Build your active crossover unit. Get it tuned and time aligned correctly from each driver to make it sound like a time coherent source.
2) Finally, with the Dirac Live at the input, run your measurement of your overall system.
